The Most Anticipated Games in 2023Gaming enthusiasts, assemble! With 2022 coming to a close, the majority of us probably tuned into the Game Awards to see Elden Ring win Game of the Year. Alternatively, you and your friends could have a full discussion on what game changed your life this year. For us, personally, our game of the year is the 2019 indie game Disco Elysium. For its stellar narrative and complex and well-written characters, the detective/mystery game opened our eyes to how games can play with their story, and how a game that looks can simple be so complex and fun at the same time. But, enough about this year. Let’s talk about 2023! There are a lot of games that will be released in the future, and we’re all excited to see them released out into the wild (no pun intended). Street Fighter Toys: Ryu vs. Ken vs. Chun LiIt's rather common to recreate video game action scenes by animating action figures, but how does one animate non-articulating figures? With lots and lots of motion! Stop-motion animation, that is. And some really fast-paced editing. John Huang and associates made this Street Fighter battle sequence to advertise Fanhome figurines. They don't move, but they kick ass anyway. Especially Chun Li. -via Geeks Are Sexy#Streetfighter #stopmotion #Ryu #Ken #ChunLi #figurine
Street Fighter Characters Turned into Photorealistic 'Real Humans' by Google AI Capcom’s leading man Ryu as well as the rest of the Street Fighter bunch have been featured in different games and platforms across their career as iconic video game characters. Ryu himself has had a long journey from the original 1987’s Street Fighter to being tweaked to fit more recent titles such as Fortnite and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. But these pale in comparison to what Google AI has done. Twitter user @Siberian_644 made use of the powerful Google AI to render these iconic characters into the flesh.
