You’ve probably seen them in numerous D&D actual plays over the years, but these big names have teamed up together to create a new audio fiction podcast.
Dimension 20’s dungeon master (and the evil, evil man managing the campaign behind the very, very good Exandria Unlimited: Calamity) Brennan Lee Mulligan and player Lou Wilson teamed up with video game voice actor Erika Ishii and Aabria Iyengar, a veteran and notable player and dungeon master who created campaigns for Critical Role and Dimension 20 for this new series.
The podcast is called Worlds Beyond Number, a TTRPG podcast where listeners can unravel new stories and campaigns from these four stars. The difference to this new series compared to the cast’s appearances in other popular actual plays is that they have creative freedom over this project. “We get to decide our fate,” said Ishii. “We are not beholden to anybody else except for ourselves, and our creative sensibilities, and to the fans that are the ones supporting us.”
