Skyrim Will Never Die. Here’s Why.

At this point, they might just as well release a Skyrim port on an old console and call it quits. Alternatively, they can also just release a sequel.

Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will just not stop spawning. Every time there’s a new console, you bet that this game will be available on that platform. Even if it was already available in other consoles, Valve has announced that the title was their 11th most played on its handheld system, the Steam Deck.

The game joins old classics such as The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, Stardew Valley, Hades, and new releases such as Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077. What’s interesting to us is that it’s already 12 years since its release, and it’s still in the top 15 of the console. Why can’t people just get enough of this RPG?

Well, the world of Skyrim is immersive. Considered one of the best open-world games of all time, it is filled to the brim with mysteries and unsolved questions. To this day, some can even find new things they’ve never seen in the game before. The game also opens a lot of play styles by allowing its players to take on the game as a mage, a bandit, an assassin, or a vampire– and each run will feel different.
