Meet the Epilogue GB Operator, a device created to satisfy nostalgia for adults who grew up in the era of Game Boy games. The Operator allows you to plug and play different Game Boy games directly into your desktop or laptop.
Designed by Epilogue, the GB Operator allows older cartridges to be played not only without the actual console but also on a bigger screen! Aside from its usefulness, the device is also designed to look quite pretty.
The Operator comes with a transparent design that’s somewhat of a nod to the translucent build found on Game Boy Advance models. The gadget is compatible with Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cartridges. All you need to do is to connect the device to your computer, insert the title of your choice, and you can now play!
What’s great about this gadget as well is that it also supports homebrew and ROM hack cartridges. You can insert a hacked copy and the Operator will run it with no issues. It also allows players to make ROMs of legal cartridges digitally so they can be saved for backup.
