How to Make Monster Rice Balls from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

In the Legend of Zelda game Breath of the Wild, these rice balls are described as "Rice balls flavored with monster extract. Their unique aroma is not for everyone." In the real world, they smell and taste wonderful and have something even better than monster extract: all natural homemade purple dye made from plants! The rice is dyed with a combination of red cabbage dye and beet and/or pomegranate juice. The combination gives these rice balls the perfect in-game color and will surely impress your gamer friends when they come over for Zelda night. Or maybe a Halloween party!

The rest of the recipe is pretty straightforward and easy to follow. Diana Ault stuffed this onigiri with sweet potato, avocado, and cream cheese. You can substitute fillings to your own taste.
