Dragon Ball’s Frieza makes a surprise appearance in Shinjuku through a curved LED billboard called the Cross Shinjuku Vision, outside of the city’s train stop
The emperor of Universe 7 and the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise appears on the screen, regarding the passers-by in Shinjuku like royal subjects. Frankly, seeing Frieza pop in is both cool and lowkey scary at the same time. The entire video is Bandai Namco’s advertisement for the new Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle.
Let’s hope that other characters from the Dragon Ball universe (where are you, Goku?) will soon make an appearance on the Shinjuku LED billboard!
